John Yoon, DDS

I like the aspect that I am improving people's lives by relieving them from pain, or getting them to eat better, speak better, and look better.  My patients tend to be very friendly and appreciative, and that always makes my day.  I try to be an easy person to get along with and talk to, and this helps my patients feel more comfortable in my practice.

Education and Experience

I have been practicing dentistry in Minnesota since 2002.

After my undergraduate study at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan majoring in chemistry, I graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in Cleveland, Ohio.  I did my post-graduate General Practice Residency training at the University of Minnesota.

I was also adjunctive assistant professor at the University of Minnesota teaching diagnostic and clinical skills to fourth-year dental students.  I was also a presenter at Star of North Minnesota dental convention.

I continue my education mostly through the University of Minnesota and American Dental Association to ensure that I stay abreast of the most current dental methods and technologies.

Family

I am married with two boys and have a stepdaughter.  I enjoy attending plays and musicals, and love traveling. I spend my spare time golfing, watching movies and football, and reading non-fiction books.
